The "Squire's Quest! 2 research project is the second iteration of the Children's Nutrition Research Center's highly acclaimed multimedia program Squire's Quest!, which was clinically proven to increase fruit, juice and vegetable consumption in elementary school children by one serving size. Eight animated characters interact with the player, a Squire, who must save the mediaeval Kingdom of Fivealot from the sneaky King Ssynster by meeting FJV goals and earning enough badges to become a Knight. Squire's Quest! 2 includes over 60 minutes of cutscenes which guide the player through rich storyline, ten casual games, a virtual kitchen, and FJV behavior-change components. SQ!2 was created for Dr. Debbe Thompson of the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
