Client: The University of Texas Health Science Center

The Aetna Foundation funded Food Fury as part of the Games for Wellness collaborative led by Dr. Cynthia Phelps and the University of Texas Health Science Center. This online game targets 3rd - 5th graders to teach and change behavior around food choice and portion control. The game fills a need to provide a safe space for kids to apply skills of food choice and portioning. Results from the pilot project were used to apply for NIH funding to incorporate games into a healthy after school program, the CATCH Kid's Club.
